I want to help you get the understanding and support you need that matches your grieving process. Every situation is different for each person. No one can truly understand how it affects you but we can offer empathy and compassion. Barbara has served as a volunteer and a program director for a hospice center in B.C. She introduces herself here. Besides her You Tube Channel, Barbara has a website In Autumn's Cocoon with additional content to explore. I am currently watching her videos. Very impressed!
George Bonano Ph.D

Dr. Bonano from Columbia University has conducted extensive research in bereavement and trauma. I highly recommend his book, The Other Side of Sadness for coping with grief and loss. Click on his name at left to learn about his interesting background!


Dr. Hone was a trauma psychologist serving earthquate victims in New Zealand when her teen age daughter was killed in an auto accident. It changed her life and focus of her career to one of grief, loss and resilience. She uses Positive Psychology to help grievers cope. Here's an interview and a review of her book, Resilient Grieving, which I am currently reading. I've learned a lot!

This site is well-worth visiting and exploring for articles, webinars, videos and other resources for those in bereavement or for caregivers. They also have fee-based courses on various aspect for grieving. Additionally check out some of these Free Grief Guides.
When I found this site I kept looking for a commericial connection and hidden costs. None! The extensive offerings for grievers are all FREE and depend on members for content production. There are courses on all aspects of grieving, even pet loss. They have a TV channel here. a podcast here, and extensive videos and writings. All ready for you!
