There are many excellent websites devoted to issues of importance for seniors and a Positive AGER Lifestyle, our PAL. Please examine some of those below for  resources, support and blogs. You may click on any underlined area for transfer to the website.  They are listed in random order not according to value or content. I have only selected those I consider of primary quality.

According to the website their mission is "to empower seniors by offering practical, well-researched guidance on topics that matter most to your health, happiness and independence." They do that extremely well with articles from over 40 subjects such as caregiving, medical, financial, legal, and travel.

The SNN or Super Aging News Network lives up to it's name. There are dozens of blog posts on any topic of interest to senior agers.  Cagegories include Longevity and Wellness, Work and Unretirement, Your Money, Living the Life, an online Newsletter, and even a book "Super Aging" for outside purchase. I spent a "super" hour scrolling the content while preparing this review!

While the website sponsors ads for senior communities it is the wide ranging number of blogs or articles that impressed me. They are grouped under Senior Living, Continuing to Live at Home, Answers to Money Questions, and Health and Happiness. Each category has numerous topic areas.  I don't think they have missed any issue of importance to senior agers. See what you think!

Senior Planet is sponsored by AARP. It has classes on topics of interest to seniors that are live on zoom or self-paced and on demand. All are FREE. The site also has a podcast "Aging Rewired" that I will review in my podcast section. Like most senior sites it has a wealth of articles on senior living.  You could spend hours exploring this valuable site! I did!

One of the best features of Senior Directory.com is a city guide listing services such as Elder Law Attorneys,Assisted Living locations, and 55+ Communiities among many others. There is also a large selection of articles. Here's one called "Sit While Gardening" for those with mobility limitations that you might enjoy reading. Nice way to "grow" older!

The main reason I like this site is that it is not an ad venue for senior communities, just plain advice for successful senior lifestyles. The website into describes it well: Great Living and Healthy Living: Articles for Seniors, Loved Ones, and Caregivers". They are further divided into Buying Guides, Fun and Recreation, Health and Wellness, Living Options, Legal and Finance, and Caregivers and Support. No hidden adjendas here, just information and help for agers.  It doesn't get any better!

Most states and counties have local senior resources.  This one represents the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington areas sponsored by Skamania County.  It has excellent articles for not only area seniors but nationally.  I recommend that you examine your region to see what available. You might be surprised!

This website is packed with information for a Positive AGER Lifestyle, your PAL. Excellent articles on legal, financial, wellness, medicare and several podcasts I have not heard of. I plan to spend more time here. Quite amazing resource guide!

Jeff Hoyt, Editor-in-Chief

Most senior lifestyle websites have both informational and commercial interests. This one also has both but is heavy on consumer product reviews and recommendations. Jeff Hoyt has several videos to guide seniors on products or services selection such as this one on Assisted Living at page bottom.

I found this website very refreshing - nothing for sale although they do ask for donations.  The motto " trustworthy quality journalism that matters most as we age." They deliver with hundreds of articles in categories such as Health, Money and Policy, Work and Purpose, Living, and Caregiving. They are written by individuals sharing personal stories not by a team of experts promoting a service or product.  You really need to visit and stay awhile!

The educational articles on this site are very impressive. They cover health, legal, lifestyle, relationships among others.  Here's an example on "Nutrition Tips for 60 year-Olds". I was somewhat puzzled by the About Us reference to helping members with crypto currency investments and avoiding scams. Not sure why that's included here but see for yourself.
