I am amazed at how many "experts" know exactly what we need to be healthy and happy and live so long. It is interesting how young most of them are. Is there a disconnect there? Are they just interested in marketing their supplements and books? Of course not all of them but as a group we are a formidable economic force and many entrepreneurs would like to reach into our wallets and purses, if not our hearts and souls.
I have screened the professionals that I recommend very carefully, some are young and others older. Perhaps because of my age I tend to gravitate towards the gray and wrinkled ones. Beside the doctors, writers, and support personnel in the field of aging I think there is a great deal of knowledge and wisdom among those who know aging best, from experience not just training. That why I am very interested in YOUR stories of aging and how we can learn from one another.
I would like to hear about your successes and failures, and how you view aging. That is why I am initiating the REAL AGER Podcast and why I would like to hear from you. I want to put the YOU back in YOU TUBE, as I think it was originally. Until I locate and connect with you, I am going to comb the internet for stories of REAL AGERs, like you and me. Some are true, some fiction, and some may contain elements of both, but we may find life lessons that will be of value to us and give us a greater sense of the community to which we belong. We Are Positive AGERs! Join the "club". Let's not be "virtual" strangers!
