The last several years I have been building a library of books on Positive Aging that I would like to share with you. I never pay full price if I can avoid it and usually get used ones in good condition. My favorite venue is Ebay, especially sites like Second Sale where you get free delivery. They'll even buy your books after you read them!
I have so many excellent recommendations to help you build and support your Positive AGER Lifestyle, your PAL, that it will take some time to list them all. But here's a start!

Random order, not ranked - add them when I get to them!

How to Eat by Mark Bittman and Dr. David L. Katz
The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
Get Off Your Assets by Neale S. Godfrey [Gray Divorce]
SUPER AGERS by Eric Topol, MD.

Should You Buy It?

Please watch my review above [Should You Buy It?] or check with Goodreads.com before buying. It is packed with scientific and medical information and terminology. Unless this matches your level of expertise you might gain more by watching podcasts and interviews that feature Dr. Topol and his book. Just search the Internet for loads of options. The parts relating to lifestyle interventions are easy to interpret and extremely insightful. In this respect it could serve as a textbook for my AGER+LEARNS Decade Challenge series of courses!

The Unexpected Journey by Emma Willis
My Review

Emma and Bruce
Beloved actor, Bruce Willis, age 70, has been diagnosed with Frontotemperal Dementia, usually expected to be fatal. His wife, Emma has written Unexpected Journey about his diagnosis and condition, their relationship and the challenges the family has had to cope with. He has recently been placed in a facility with 24 hr. care. I especially recommend the book for Caregivers. You can find more about Bruce and Emma in Aging Celebrities in the Resource heading above.
Love 2.0 by Barbara Fredrickon, Ph.D.

My Review
Dr. Fredrickson is a psychology professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has been a researcher and teacher of Positive Psychology for many years. I am currently preparing a series of videos on Love 2.0. I'll post then here as they are developed.

The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

Here's My Review

The best book I've found for developing a morning routine for a Positive AGER Day! Hal Elrod will get you moving every morning! His inspirational life story, originally self published, has become a motivational media platform for successful living, at any age. You can find loads of videos on You Tube detailing his methods until your book arrives from Ebay!
Hal in Action!
Subtitle: A Woman's Guide to Avoid Getting Screwed in Your Gray Divorce by Neale S. Godfrey. According to the Amazon site " she provides readers with enough information to begin improving their financial outlook as they also manage their divorce proceedings without being overwhelmed with complicated terminology . . ."
